OLD WYKEHAMIST FOOTBALL CLUB
Welcome to the home of the Old Wykehamist Football Club.
OWFC is open to Old Wykehamists of all ages and standards and encourages anyone who wants to play football after leaving Winchester to get involved. Anyone wishing to play must be registered with the FA - please do so here.
We have two main teams (1st XI and 2nd XI) who compete against other Old Boys' teams in the Arthurian League. We also have a Veterans XI, which plays regularly throughout the season. The 1s are currently in the First Division, while the 2s are in Division 5, but play a range of both 2s and 1s teams.
Matches are played most Saturdays from September to May.
Our home games are held in London on 3G, in either Acton or Whitton, and away games tend to be in and around London.
Throughout the season we also hire an Astroturf pitch in Battersea Park for training and everyone is welcome to come along on a Tuesday evening from 8-9pm for a kick around. There is a WhatsApp group to organise numbers for this each week, so please contact the club at OldWykehamistFC@gmail.com to get involved.
For 1st XI players and some regular club members, there is Monday night training in Central London also.
Aside from football, we organise epicurean social events and facilitate the great times.
