The less said about the weekend the better. The 2s saw youngsters Ivo Beatty, Richard Cubitt and Hugh Burden make appearances against a "really quite good" Suttonians side.
The 1s went down 4-0 at half-time and never fully recovered, with some freak goals on a huge pitch, though admittedly deservedly lost. Time is on their side as they acclimatise to the Premier Division.
